![]() You can still pick up Q2016 quite cheaply on Amazon. Although it has had some good reviews, it is the first version to have been converted to the new (aka washed out pastel colours and low contrast) Windows look and feel, and there are some teething problems that need sorting out. Just found out a real niggle with my bank and wondered if you Excel geniuses could help. ![]() 1 Hey there, First time poster long time reader of the blog. The 'Import QIF File' window will appear. Navigate to your QIF file, select the file, and click 'OK'. ![]() Follow the prompts to create a new file as a 'Minimal Account Set,' then go to File -> Import. If you would like to open a new, blank data file before importing go to File -> New. Search for MS Money sunset version if you go down that route, which is/was freely available. I switched from Q2004XG (UK version) to Q2013, which was not exactly painless, but well worth it. You need to enable multicurrency support in the preferences and set default currency to Pounds Sterling before creating any accounts, or any accounts you create will be stuck in USD no matter what you change the default currency to later. I have been using Quicken since the mid 90's. If you are not bothered about downloading account transactions and just want a manual entry register, it is very good IMO.
